Carla McArdle Podiatry & Associates


Carla McArdle is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Podiatrist and a member of the College of Podiatry, graduating with a BSc (hons) Podiatry from Ulster University in 2009. Carla also completed a PhD in 2015 in which her area of research involved patients with diabetic foot ulcers. Carla has experience of working in both private practice and the NHS and is currently a Podiatry lecturer in QMU, Edinburgh.

McArdle Podiatry is a conveniently located clinic at 24 Lochrin Buildings (in close proximity to the city centre). McArdle Podiatry specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of lower limb and foot conditions and offers a broad range of treatments and assessments. Assessments include musculoskeletal assessments with gait analysis and possible prescription of orthotics/insoles, diabetic foot screening (vascular and neurological assessments) and general assessments of the feet and lower limbs.

A treatment plan will be devised to eradicate the problem, this will also include advice on the short and long term treatment options which will be tailored specifically to the patient’s needs
